This book by K.L. Going is an amazing read if you are an aspiring Young Adult novelist.

Another fantastic read on writing the perfect YA novel by Regina Brooks.

Oh, yes. I succumbed. The Twilight Series by Stephenie Meyer is a wonderful resource for character development. Whether you love or hate Bella Swan, you should read it all the way to the end.
